India has widened its LNG sourcing base from six to 15 countries and crude oil sources from 27 to 41 as geopolitical risks continue to threaten energy supply routes. The move comes as Indian markets closed almost flat on Monday, with crude prices and West Asia uncertainty offsetting strong earnings and softer US jobs data.
